Argus
Agility Instructor Jill Crawford
GILLIAN
CRAWFORD (AKC Registered
Name; Call Name "Jill") has been involved in agility and
obedience since 1988. She was one of the founding members
of Rainier Agility Team, one of the Pacific
Northwest's largest agility clubs, serving many times as
President, Officer, Board of Director(s) and Training
Advisor(s). Training her three Samoyeds in agility and
obedience has been both rewarding and a constant
challenge. Aslan, was one of the first Sammies in the
Country competing in agility in USDAA, NADAC and
AKC. She is currently competing in the agility and
obedience with her MACH “Cowboy” the
"Parti-Pom",
Sheltie “Connor” Golden Retriever
“Steal” (AND yes ... we have a Border Collie
puppy right now ... so add a
BC to the list !!). Jill has been judging AKC agility since
1997 and enjoys both her time as a competitor and the
constant learning experience of an agility judge. She was
selected to judge the AKC Nationals in 2003 in Long
Beach, California. She has been training and teaching
agility for over 10 years, and will make a great addition
to the ARGUS RANCH’s Agility Training.
“One of the things that I love about Agility is there
is a place for all of us to have fun and
compete with our pet(s) – whether it is to aspire for
World Team, goals of achieving a MACH,
winning your specific breed’s national,” or
just have a “beer” with friends, we all are
embraced
and supported in this sport!”
If you would like
to contact her directly for agility classes, workshops,
privates, please email at
ARFTRAINING@COMCAST.NET.
New classes and workshops are being organized now. Please
contact Jill if
you are interested.
Jill will be available at ARF on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
for classes .We have day and evening classes,
and Jill will be available for privates and
“semi” privates for 3 or 4 dog workouts. If you
have
a group of dogs that would like a customized workout to
deal with certain topics and would benefit
from a fast paced workout periodically or are just having a
tough time making or finding a regular class for
yourself, this may be a great solution for you. There is
also a different format for classes. Some classes
meet once a week for a 1+ hour lesson, and some classes
meet for 2+ hours every other week for
those handler teams that come a long distance.
Meet and work with Jill and receive great information in
the interactive workshops with your dog(s).
